    A former marine biologist who completed her PhD at the Gatty Marine Laboratory in St. Andrews, Scotland, Toni Anderson has traveled the world with her work. She was born and raised in rural Shropshire, England, and, after living in five different countries, she finally settled down in the Canadian prairies with her husband and two children. Combining her love of travel with her love of romantic suspense, Anderson writes stories based in some of the places she has been fortunate to visit. When not writing, she's busy walking her dog, gardening, and ferrying the kids to school, piano, and soccer games. She is also the author of Storm Warning and Edge of Survival.

      Have been looking for a new author that I really love. I’ve found her. This book is so good!

      So far I have loved all these books! I love crime, thriller books, but I love that there is romance in there too! None of them have let me down. ❤️

      Now this book was actually good! Didn't care for book 3 as much, 2 was ok and I didn't read 1.....on to book 5!

      While I thoroughly enjoyed this book, there were times when I found some of the characters two dimensional - a surprise, considering that one reason I have enjoyed this series is because Toni Anderson does a decent job developing the characters. Also, the pace slowed down too much at times (in my opinion). However, even with these couple of criticisms, it's still excellent.
