About this audiobook

America is under attack. Its institutions and values are under daily assault. But the principal culprits are not foreign terrorists. They are influential and powerful Americans secretly stirring up disunion and disloyalty in the shifting shadows of the Democratic Party.

Radical infiltrators have been quietly transforming America's societal, cultural, and political institutions for more than a generation. Now, backed by George Soros, they are ready to make their move. These "progressive" extremists have gained control over a once-respectable but now desperate and dangerous political party. From their perches in the Democratic hierarchy, they seek to undermine the war on terror, destabilize the nation, and effect radical "regime change" in America.

With startling new evidence, New York Times best-selling authors David Horowitz and Richard Poe shine the light on the Shadow Party, exposing its methods, tactics, and ultimate agenda.

David Horowitz

David Horowitz is a noted conservative thinker, writer and commentator and the Founder and CEO of the David Horowitz Freedom Center in Los Angeles, CA, whose mission is “to defend free societies which are under attack from enemies within and without, both secular and religious;” and further, to defend the principles of individual freedom, the rule of law, private property, limited government and to reestablish academic freedom in American schools. The Freedom Center publishes the online news magazine FrontPageMag.com, where Horowitz serves as Editor-in-Chief. David Horowitz grew up a "red diaper baby" in a communist community in Sunnyside, Queens, and was one of the founders of the New Left in the 1960s and an editor of its largest magazine, Ramparts; but forced to confront some difficult truths about the political left, Horowitz ultimately found a political and intellectual home as a conservative activist. Cultural critic Camille Paglia has said of David Horowitz: "I respect the astute and rigorously unsentimental David Horowitz as one of America's most original and courageous political analysts. . . .I think that, a century from now, cultural historians will find David Horowitz's spiritual and political odyssey paradigmatic for our time." Norman Podhoretz, former editor of Commentary magazine, says of Horowitz: "David Horowitz is hated by the Left because he is not only an apostate but has been even more relentless and aggressive in attacking his former political allies than some of us who preceded him in what I once called 'breaking ranks' with that world. He has also taken the polemical and organizational techniques he learned in his days on the left, and figured out how to use them against the Left, whose vulnerabilities he knows in his bones." Horowitz has written well over a dozen books, including The New York Times Bestseller BIG AGENDA: TRUMP’S REAL PLAN TO SAVE AMERICA, as well as DARK AGENDA: THE WAR TO DESTROY CHRISTIAN AMERICA, UNHOLY ALLIANCE, THE BLACK BOOK OF THE AMERICAN LEFT, TAKE NO PRISONERS, PROGRESSIVE RACISM, THJE PROFESSORS and his celebrated memoirs MORTALITY & FAITH and RADICAL SON. https://www.horowitzfreedomcenter.org/ http://www.frontpagemag.com/ The David Horowitz Freedom Center is located in Los Angeles, CA.

I wish every one would read this book. Incredibly eye-opening I knew only the tiniest fraction of what I had read. I completely agree there should be a sequel to this but many of the players and bad actors are still active today. This book is still completely relevant. I’m sure there are some on the left that will say this is all make-believe, but your own research will prove it to be true.

I L♡VED IT. Published in 2006, it's continued relevance in 2021 is quite amazing. This is a book that needs to be listened to a 2nd time. The names are all well known, they get recycled repeatedly with every election. If you read this review prior to listening, pay close attention to the name, "Zach Exley." He was involved with Bernie Sanders campaign. He, along with Becky Bonds and a 3rd guy whose name will come to me in the middle of the night, are the writers of a 'Google Doc' known as "The Green New Deal." This trio, as part of the "Justice Democrats," if memory serves, picked, auditioned and placed in Congress, none other than Sandy Cortez, a/k/a A. O. C. They are heavily involved in many down-ballot elections that gave us the radicals known as "the squad." (The 3rd guy who penned the GND is Chakrabarti [?], I think, he worked with A. O. C. for a short•time after she went to DC. I'm almost certain he left early on because of campaign finance violations. I could be wrong, but the more I write, the more I think I'm right.) I HIGHLY recommend this book. Enlightening, to say the least. It deserves a sequel that goes through the Barry Hussein•years. Hell, I should say. Eight (8) years of Hussein•Hell.
