About this audiobook

Single mom Sherry lives in a trailer park with her six-year-old son Jake, trying to make ends meet as a waitress.

Madison's life couldn't be more different. She's been raised by her rich grandmother, and her only goals are partying and bedding women.

When her grandmother threatens to disinherit her if she doesn't clean up her act, Madison has to find a way to convince her she's changed.

After a chance encounter with Sherry, Madison comes up with a crazy idea that will rock both of their worlds: she wants to hire Sherry to play her fake girlfriend.

4.5 stars alone for the narration!

This is a relatively good faux-romance, but I didn’t really feel any chemistry between the MCs to find it believable

Good stories till the last chapter. It ended like the author just got tired of it. Too many questions not answered. Such as all through the story it was alluded the the grandmother was sick and close to dying. Left side open.

I was given this ARC by the publisher in exchange for an Honest Review.I am so torn on this book. I have liked Fake Relationship books in the past, and so I wanted to give this one a try, but then it was like reading two different books when it came to the character of Madison.Madison is a playgirl with money whose grandmother (who kinda sorta raised Madison) gives her an ultimatum. Stop messing around and grow up or you get no inheritance. So, what does she do? She hires a waitress who's barely making ends meet to be her girlfriend, and suddenly Sherry and her son Jake's lives change forever. They move into Madison's apartment and become a whole fake family for Madison. It goes as you would assume with everyone getting closer and that's where there seemed to be a switch that's thrown in re: Madison's character and where before she was an ass, now she's perfect? It was a bit disconcerting to read.I also didn't really like how many of the secondary storylines seemed to be unresolved at the end of the novel.Still, I really, really liked the characters and definitely wanted to know much more about most of them. I also really, really liked how Jake was written.
