About this audiobook
The Mysterious Stranger is Mark Twain's final novel. It was worked on periodically from roughly 1890 up until 1910. The body of work is a serious social commentary by Twain addressing his ideas of the Moral Sense and the "damned human race".
The story tells of the adventures of Satan, the sinless nephew of the biblical Satan, in an Austrian village in the Middle Ages. Classic storytelling. A very interesting side of Twain's writings.
Mark Twain
Mark Twain, who was born Samuel L. Clemens in Missouri in 1835, wrote some of the most enduring works of literature in the English language, including The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc was his last completed book—and, by his own estimate, his best. Its acquisition by Harper & Brothers allowed Twain to stave off bankruptcy. He died in 1910.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was a very thought provoking quick and enjoyable read!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Somewhat preachy. Reminded me a lot of Voltaire and his I'll. Not remotely historical. No real story.
