This is my first book by AB Whelan, and I’m sure it’s not the last. Written in multiple POV’s, it did take me a minute to figure out who was the speaker. Some books require a bit more attention and if the overall plot is good, it’s definitely worth it.
There are some sensitive subjects that are described with some detail and some readers may be put off or bothered by the details.
Olivia’s perfect life has just been shattered by the discovery of her husband’s journal. She thought her secrets were bad, but they are nothing compared to her husband’s. Olivia‘s friend Ashley is a new psychologist with one new patient. When her new patient no-shows for her appointment, Ashley asks for Olivia‘s help to find her. Betty is a mutual friend to both, and she jumps in to help also.
During their search for the missing patient, numerous secrets and lies become apparent. The book is fast-paced and keeps the reader guessing right up until the end.
