- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Beautiful, interesting, surprisingly profund here and there. Worth you time reading or listening to.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Straight forward and to the point and exactly what people need to hear even if just to remind themselves to put a conscious thought about these uncommon common-sense ideas toward living a fulfilling and happy existence no matter your circumstances. I choose happiness most days but I was humbled in by the reminder that the other feelings I experience and my reactions and decisions based on those feelings are all choices too.
Many thanks to the author your voice in your writing is very personable and honest/genuine and the realness is refreshing and appreciated! - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This book should be read by anyone who is going through a mental struggle in life. Humble talks a lot about cutting negative people out of your life to better yourself with positivity. He also talks about changing your thought processes in order to look at every life decision with a different outlook.
This book was good no denying that but it was overly repetitive. There were chapters that were titled differently but so similar and worded the same. I can not tell you how sick I was of hearing metaphors about painting and “Life is a canvas” I don’t know...give it a try. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Simple but needed, had a lot of things that stuck out to me. I really wish I got a hand on this in high school, because certain practices could have done then to make it easier now. Definitely gives the reader a sense of belonging and even though through out the book it’s just things you need to give up, not once did I feel attacked or felt judge. To me it was like “hey you do this and it’s negative and we all do it because we’re human just stop that sh!t for your own good”
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great stuff here. I really love the author's voice and speaking cadence.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5It was a little too cliche for me and a bunch of phrases heard over a 100 times throughout life.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wow, I will be listening to this audio again
