      It was a fun read until the main character proclaimed that he wanted to impregnate the woman. That is not romantic.

      (Ronan & Chloe): TRIGGERS: forced prostitution, Domestic Violence, kidnapping, theft of inheritance. Finally, we get the story of Ronan and Chloe. Chloe makes an appearance in the epilogue in the previous book, "Defending Allye". Now we learn exactly how she got the bruises and why she's in this situation. And it's bad. Her backstory is horrible but I love that the author made it so that it isn't solely about her but a telling of what happened with her parents and brother and why she's in a bad way now. Ronan has not been able to forget their first encounter and enlists his team to find her and see if she needs help. This book will put you through a roller coaster of emotions. The MM team goes above and beyond to make sure she's safe. I also love that Allye is not forgotten as part of the MM family and she's there to help Chloe get comfortable. This book is dangerous, mysterious and sexy. I loved it.
