      Overall, this course provided a broad and balanced overview of the subject of spiritual life coaching. I respect the need to include information on cultural appropriation of spiritual practices, but did not see the need to specifically mention white supremacy, as all cultures are capable of cultural appropriation. There was considerable time expended on this particular topic within the text. These statements may offend or alienate some readers, as it gives the impression that the author holds some sort of animosity specifically toward the white race.

      Not one of us has the right to judge the spiritual path that another has been called to. Nor should we, as spiritual life coaches limit a person’s spiritual path based solely on their current incarnation’s familial heritage. Every soul experiences multiple incarnations. We are spirit beings undefined by the physical trappings of race, color, sex, creed, etc. Race has no place in the talk of spiritual things because spirit transcends all manner of the material.

      It went more in depth than I thought it would, and love the information on cultural appropriation as well as the inclusion of African spiritual traditions.
