About this audiobook

Sometimes dreams change…and sometimes it takes a dream reader to make it happen.

When Jaden Wilde’s girlfriend turns down his marriage proposal just months before he receives his master’s in counseling, he’s convinced that it’s cold feet. Until he learns that her no came at the advice of a new age “dream reader.” But Arsula’s hardly the woo-woo hippie his scholarly mind imagined. She’s charming, smart, and uncannily perceptive. And before long, he’s drawn to her—despite his ongoing skepticism for how her practice works.

Arsula’s intuitions led her to Birch Bay not to guide Jaden’s girlfriend—but to guide him to his best life possible. As the odd one out in an unsupportive family, Arsula can relate to the struggle to find one’s path, and she wants to see Jaden with the woman of his dreams. Although she’s cautious of being the rebound girl, what she’s starting to feel for him is too real to ignore.

When Jaden’s own volatile family issues come to a head and his doubts are made resoundingly clear, Arsula worries she’s misread the signs. Maybe they’re all wrong for each other. Maybe he should be with his ex. She’s supported him, but if he can’t believe in her, how will they ever find out if they’re truly meant to be?

OMG! This book was so good.

Having read the first few books in this series I was expecting an captivating read. Then as I listened to the first chapter I started to worry that this might be the case. But thank goodness I kept on. Because things kept getting more and more interesting. And the last chapter, was Wow! Just Wow! That and the need for half a box of tissues. Tearjerker in the best way.

Since I don't want to do spoilers. I can only tell you that at times you might want to smack Jaden upside the head. But he has some reasons for his stupidity. And others, you want to hug him and smack him upside the head. But you got to love him. And he does know how to apologize in the best way.

I highly recommend this book and series to anyone who likes a good contemporary romance with depth.

This is a story of growth, acceptance, love & family. Jaden is set in his ways & is selfish. Subconsciously, he has issues stemming from his narcissistic mother & his “absent” father. He’s never really felt loved. His girlfriend even refused to marry him because of a dream & the person that helped her figure out what it meant. Arsula has a gift. She helps people interpret their dreams. It makes some people look at her oddly. Her father is making her miserable because he doesn’t feel she is living up to her potential. Arsula feels she has been brought to town to “heal” Jaden. What fireworks! Arsula seems so calm & loving but boy can Jaden make her furious. Their chemistry is intense from the beginning but when they open their mouths, they really provoke reactions from each other. Jaden becomes furious & attacks when ever Arsula gets too close to the truth. His comments are designed to hurt Arsula’s soul when said. Her character is more forgiving than I would be. Arsula is more intelligent than people give her credit for but she needs to trust in herself & be brave about trying something new. This was not a relationship I would have seen but they pull each other out of their comfort zones & compliment each other.
