About this audiobook
Across Europe, a secret organization has begun attacking diplomats. Back in the United States, a foreign ally demands the identity of a highly placed covert asset. In the balance hang the ingredients for all-out war.
With his mentor out of the game, counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath must take on the role he has spent his career avoiding. But, as with everything else he does, he intends to rewrite the rules—all of them.
In Spymaster, Scot Harvath is more cunning, more dangerous, and deadlier than ever before.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Spymaster: A Thriller is a slow moving book. It paid a lot of attention to character build up more than the actual story. The book had an ending that did not end; clearly so that the reader would have to wait for the next book in order to find out what happened to the characters, if he/she had an interest or cared. This book received a solid three stars in this review.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5General comments on "Hidden Order" and "Foreign Influence" apply.Thor's tradecraft is good, because I could follow and enjoy most of the action without being a fan-follower of the series. It is challenging to write a real-time politico-thriller, but I think he gives a good picture of how things work in the covert world, while clearly having his group function at a "don't we wish" level, as is true of most TV and movies.
