- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I listened to this because someone, maybe Woody Allen, said that Perelman was in his opinion the greatest of American humor writers, so I tried this because I couldn’t find any Perlman audiobooks on Scribd. This is a one-man autobiographical play and I found it to be mostly a slog, a fairly bleak recounting of various events and characters in Perelman’s life that carried little hint of what was great in his writing. I will have to find another source for audiobooks to get a taste of this author.
