About this audiobook

How many Blood will come to the vampire queen's call . . . and will they be able to protect her from the king?

For the first time in her adult life, Shara has plenty of money thanks to the Isador legacy-and she's not alone. Daire and Rik are devoted lovers, but they know other Blood are coming. Blood who may challenge Rik for the coveted alpha spot at her back.

As her power grows, so does her hunger. But without fangs, she fears she'll never be the queen her Blood expect. More Blood means power struggles and complications, and she has no idea how to keep everyone happy. Worse, her dreams are quickly becoming something to fear.

Moving to establish her permanent nest, she can't stop dreaming of the king. A massive monster. Chained in darkness. Lost to madness. He roars with fury in her dreams, demanding his release.

But is he the key to unraveling her own mysterious past-or the most dangerous threat of all?

Contains mature themes.

If you want smut with a minimal plot then this series is for you.

The structure for a great series is there but there is just so much sex. I love sex in books, the main reason why I read them but every character is obsessed with breeding with Shara. It's the first thing they all think about and the direction of all their conversations.

There are more and more knights added to this kingdom who have to find their place in the hierarchy and not only that but now there's a King. A King that may want to kill her and her knights.

Do I really know what happened? No.

Was I blinded by all the sex? Yes.

    LOVE.

i reaaaaally liked this. the plot to sex ratio was perfect, and i love that (for now) the story is really revolving around Shara finding more bloods, and seeing that all go down. i love character-centric plots, and this is just hitting a sweet spot for me idk

so much better than book 1 and im READY for book 3
