About this audiobook
Sex. In a world overwhelmingly obsessed with it, why is the church so silent about it? While our secular culture twists, perverts, cheapens, and idolizes sex, there are gaping holes in the church's guidance of young people. The result is generations of sexually illiterate people drowning in the repercussions of overwhelming sin struggles. Enough is enough, says Mo Isom. With raw vulnerability and a bold spirit, she shares her own sexual testimony, opening up the conversation about misguided rule-following, virginity, temptation, porn, promiscuity, false sex-pectations, sex in marriage, and more and calling readers back to God's original design for sex--a way to worship and glorify him. This book is for the young person tangled up in an addiction to pornography, for the girlfriend feeling pressured to go further, for the "good girl" who followed the rules and saved herself for marriage and then was confused and disappointed, for the married couple who use sex as a bargaining tool, for every person who casually watches sex play out in TV and movies and wonders why they're dissatisfied with the real thing, and for every confused or hurting person in-between. Sex was God's idea. It's time we invited him back into the bedroom.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I found freedom from pornography 3 years ago through Pure Desire ministries. I found this book through their sexual integrity 101 class, which I am now leading. This book is hands-down the best I have read on the topic of sexual sin--even compared to Pure Desire by Dr. Ted Roberts. Mo Isom speaks directly to the youth of today who have been blindsided by technology, but she also digs in and offers wisdom for all people of all ages, genders, and romantic histories. This book is supercharged by the fact that it's written by a woman--proof that men are not alone in this fight. Thank you, Mo Isom, for this powerful testimony!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book goes so deep and it’s vulnerable at its best. So happy I read it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was heavy and convicting and gracious in all the right ways. I myself may have not had the same struggles as the author, but even so found truth in her pages: truth for me, for my marriage, for my sexuality, for relating with my friends. Thank you for remembering these conversations, Mo. much love.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Extremely honest recount of the authors experience with sexual addiction. Invaluable to believers struggling with their sexuality. Intended for women but I found this book so useful as a man. The author gets into why we should choose to honor God with our sexuality instead of just pointing out that He says we must. So thankful for this author’s work. Highly, highly recommend.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is awesome. Very revealing, insightful and made me search deep within. God bless you for putting this together.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Timely book written with honesty and compassion. Mo did a wonderful job of weaving Scripture throughout each chapter, making her book a powerful echo of what God has to say on this subject. However, I disapprove of two things: one missing, one included. In Chapter 9, Impurity from Impatience, Mo misses the opportunity to clarify that when one is living in sexual sin, one should step down from leadership positions. In my view, a visit to the Ellen show after having encountered God through her car accident is not something to be proud of, and I see it as an unnecessary addition to the book. Overall, however, a good book full of truth and hope for all struggling with sexual sin.
