About this audiobook

Esther Williams Sanchez is busy living her life the way she's always done. Spending time with her pets, working as a divorce mediator, and enjoying her newly renovated cottage on the beach.

She's also decided it's high time she learn how to swim to prepare for an upcoming cruise. It's time to let go of a horrible past experience and take some lessons.

So at thirty-two, Esther enrolls in the only class at the Y with a spot left. A Mommy and Me class-which seems quite tame, considering her oldest classmate aside from her is three-years-old.

Learn to swim with a bunch of babies and toddlers? Easy-squeezy, right? Er, no. As Esther leaves the pool after her very first lesson, she sprouts a magnificent tail and fins. Oh, and hair the color of a rainbow. Lots and lots of luscious hair.

Lucky for her, the OOPS girls are on site, and as they set about finding out how this happened to Esther, they run into a hunky Australian merman named Tucker Pearson who happens to be the key to Esther's problem. But Tucker has problems of his own, and they include being kicked out of his family's bottled water company, booted from his pod, and accused of embezzling over a million bucks.

Oh, and killing someone . . . OOPS, here we go again!

An Accidental Mermaid by Dakota CassidyBook 16 of the series. Can stand alone if you like funny paranormal romances. I’ve only read the first 7 several years ago, but enjoyed this visit back to Nina, Marty and their wacky world.Fair warning, if you don’t enjoy sarcasm and lots of swearing, avoid this series. I think it’s blatantly funny, but it’s not for everyone. A paranormal accident, aka someone is made into a paranormal being, is the theme. The best glue of these stories is the friendships and families that are built. Heart warming. Excerpt:“As Esther flopped to the ground with a thud that shook her small house, attempting to get at him by wiggling her way along the floor like some mermaid’s imitation of the worm, knocking over everything in her path, Tuck winced with remorse.Thankful the women intervened, he tried not to panic. But man, had he really f’ed up.He’d been so intent on getting a word with Esther about her uncle, he hadn’t been thinking clearly. Her uncle was the only tie he had to help him out of the dodgy mess he was in. Yet, when he’d seen her in all her mahogany-haired, olive-skinned, generously curved, crimson-lipped glory at her uncle’s funeral, he’d fumbled like a guppy at his first reef dance.Quite literally, she’d stolen the breath from his bloody lungs, and he hadn’t been lying about heightened emotions. Indeed, his emotions had been heightened, but as much of a sh$t as it made him feel like, it hadn’t been sadness that had fueled his reaction. It had been lust. Thick, murky, forbidden yet undeniable lust. She was a beautiful woman. A beautiful woman who, under normal circumstances, he’d have asked out without a moments hesitation.”Excerpt From The Accidental Mermaid by Dakota CassidyThis material may be protected by copyright.
