      I love Emma! As a main character she truly wants to help people and her job gives her validity as she does so, despite not being a cop. This story has nice character development and each story so far has been enjoyable from start to finish. If you want an easy enjoyable read without know-it-all attitudes this is a great series!

      I find the whole romanticisation of toxic male behaviour icky, but that's a brief blip in a fun read.
