    John Bunyan (1628–1688) was a Reformed Baptist preacher in the Church of England. He is most famous for his celebrated Pilgrim's Progress, which he penned in prison. Bunyan was author of nearly sixty other books and tracts, including The Holy War and Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners.

      Wonderful audiobook,i have gonethrough all chapters of this book and also applied to my life and this book is very helpful for everyone.This book is very inspirational and life changing. Amazing content and can easily be appreciated by anyone. It is the result of a big creativity and efforts made by the writer . Really thanks a lot for this masterpiece. passion and motivation on each page. I don't how to describe this book. Human-beings are developing themselves in writing I wish If I can Find more books like this that change our mindset and open our minds to the new world of art and creativity really amazing. The book was about a great history and this is really make my day. During quarantine it also helpful to gather knowledge and use the time properly.I Highly recommend this book for reading lovers like me You'll enjoy guys.       Perhaps the greatest piece of English allegory I have ever read. Bunyan's use of biblical characters and doctrine combined with his use of symbolism and doctrinal reflections is ingeniously clever and literarily refreshing.
      While reading, I found a literary style unique only to Bunyan that is intellectually smooth and welcoming to the reader.

      Absolute favorite book as a child. I remember once I set out to write a revised version--the exact same events but in modern English. So many good Biblical truths woven into this story, and while it may be a little heavy-handed with the allegory, I think that's the point. A true classic, and worthy of its position of second-best-seller of all time (after the Bible).

      This edition IS NOT THE REAL PILGRIM'S PROGRESS!! It strips the core essence of Bunyan by removing the talks about theology - which is really the key reason Bunyan wrote this book! The editor might be accused of being similar to Bunyan's despicable characters who preferred smooth talk and being liked by others, over the truth and hard reality of Christianity. If you want authentic Bunyan and can handle the truth about actual Christianity, go read a complete edition.

      Even the reviews about this edition reflect what you would expect - talk about a nice book, and nice literary style, but precious little about knowing or understanding God or Christianity any better.

      The publisher ought to at least have the basic integrity to label this edition as an abridged version of the original. The reader can discover this in the preface, but many may skip such formalities and not know what they are missing.
