Very entertaining! Have wanted to read or listen to this story for some time so that I could learn the origin of Cthulhu, and I was not disappointed. It is not a traditional story, but I personally think that makes it more interesting.

A classic for good reason. The narrator was really really good but he did say Chutuhlu in a weird, kind of garbled way. The story of course is a classic, never disappoints. If you've never read it I'd start with this edition. The narrator really makes the story come alive.

It was my first H.P. Lovecraft book.
I found the story really interesting, not really scary, to be honest.
It did not age well socially as he is a racist misogynistic bigot, but as the story goes, I am glad I finally know what all the fuss is about.

This is one of the best audiobooks out there. Subject matter aside, the narrator reads with passion and gravitas. Plus the addition to the music. Amazing. Felt like being at a play in a theatre

Racist piece of shit. Don't read. It's filled with racial slurs. I could listen past 2 chapters.
