About this audiobook

A New York Times best-seller!

There may only be one killer, but no one is innocent in this new young adult thriller from Natasha Preston, author of The Cellar, a New York Times best-seller, and Awake.

They think they're invincible.
They think they can do and say whatever they want.
They think there are no consequences.
They've left me no choice.

It's time for them to pay for their sins...

A weekend partying at a remote cabin is just what Mackenzie needs. She can't wait to let loose with her friends. But a crazy night of fun leaves two of them dead-murdered.

With no signs of a forced entry or struggle, suspicion turns to the five survivors. Someone isn't telling the truth. And Mackenzie's first mistake? Assuming the killing is over....

Terrible. Reads like teen fanfiction. Predictable and the ending makes no sense.

The beginning and middle was excellent. However, the irrational and improbable decisions of the characters, in the end, became distracting. You quickly lose interest and connection with characters. By the end, I had to force myself to finish. Plus one star for the fantastic narrater and English setting.

Such a good book with a great storyline that holds your attention to the end. But hated the very end. RUN? Not right at all.

The story was great, fast paced, characters were quite believeable. Only the ending seemed a bit abrupt. So 4 stars instead of 5.

The book is decent. But I hate the way it ends. There is a plot twist, and then it just ends. You don't know what happens to the rest of the characters or if they figure out what happens. I don't think there is a sequel to this. I couldn't find one. But there needs to be one to conclude the ending.

Not a great read, kept hoping it would improve but it was disappointing and the ending was quite amateur.

From the time the murders happened I knew who did it. I predicted the exact ending. I know it's not a romance but I would have loved to get deeper in the relationships of all the characters.

Natasha Preston, even though they have sold many books, needs to work on their plotting as well as endings. Twist endings are not fun unless rereading the book knowing the ending makes you notice things you did not notice the first time around. There were very few (if any) clues throughout the book to foreshadow the ending. I suggest Stephen King's method of writing an entire novel, putting it away for a few months, then coming back to rewrite it completely. This ensures you understand the most important aspects of your own story and its characters. Also, it cuts out the pointless stuff, cements your message, and just makes the story more impact lful. This is the second NP book I've read and they all just seem rushed.
Characters act randomly, lots of pointless scenes, no meaningful message, brittle love stories, and just overall mediocre writing.
The reader of this audiobook did an excellent job with what they're given.
