About this audiobook
So you want to be a writer? Congratulations!
Writing can be a rewarding and fulfilling hobby or it can be a life-long career. But it can be hard to get started when you don't yet know what you don't know.
This book provides new writers a crash course on writing basics, writing craft, and publication. It's not meant to provide all of the answers, but to instead give new writers an overview of each topic and an idea of what they should research further given their particular interests and goals.
Best of luck on your writing journey and may this book help point you in the right direction.
M.L. Humphrey
Hi there Sci Fi fans, my name is Maurice Humphrey.I am a Vermont native, husband, father, grandfather, well over 60, Navy veteran, retired IBM engineer, retired printer repairman, Graduated: Goddard Jr. College, VT Technical College, and Trinity College. Over the years I’ve written technical articles, taught technical classes, and presented at technical conventions.I’ve been reading science fiction for over 50 years now. First books were “Journey to the Centre of the Earth” by Jules Verne and “The Stars Are Ours” by Andre Norton. I’ve read and collected many great stories, and a considerable amount of junk ones as well. I’d say by now that I probably have a good idea of what I consider a good story.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved the book.
It explains writing simple and with ease. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is a helpful audio book for beginning writers. At The beginning it seemed too simple for me, but as the book progressed he touched on many subjects I didn't know anything about.
The author states his book is not comprehensive, but an overview of things a writer should know. He encourages each person to do more research and use their own judgement.
