Publishing under the names of May McGoldrick and Jan Coffey, these authors have written more than thirty novels and works of nonfiction for Penguin Random House, Mira, HarperCollins, Entangled, and Heinemann. Nikoo, an engineer, also conducts frequent workshops on writing and publishing and serves as a Resident Author. Jim holds a Ph.D. in Medieval and Renaissance literature and teaches English in northwestern Connecticut. They are the authors of Much ado about Highlanders, Taming the Highlander, and Tempest in the Highlands with SMP Swerve.

      Thoroughly enjoyed this story even though I read the series backwards by reading taking the highlander first. It was a bonus to also have a nice story for Emily

      While I enjoyed the book well enough, I feel that it was a couple of books in one. Everytime I thought it was coming to it's climax, it would keep going. The characters were likeable enough, yet I'm not hooked. The narrator is amazing though and is the reason I found this book and really the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars.
