About this audiobook

If you are like many others living with borderline personality disorder (BPD), you know what it's like to be overwhelmed by intense and fluctuating emotions; to have difficulty with relationships; and to constantly struggle with troubling thoughts and behaviors. BPD can be especially difficult to treat, though there are ways to gain control over your symptoms and live a happier, healthier life.

Expanding on the core skill of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Mindfulness for Borderline Personality Disorder will help you target and successfully manage many of the familiar symptoms of BPD. Here, you will learn the basics of mindfulness through specific exercises, and will gain powerful insight through real-life stories from people who have BPD. If you are ready to take that first step on the path toward wellness, this book will be your guide.

I was on the 5th chapter when I totally lost it because they have done nothing but talk about how mindfulness can help instead of actually teaching you some of the shit that could help. garbage.

Very interesting content. Narration was a bit annoying, too enthusiastic. Her tone of voice keeps jumping up and down and is distracting to the content. Would suit a much more calming narrator.

The best book to understand borderline traits. It gives great solutions.

Do you have bpd? Consider how long you've been diagnosed/readiness for acceptance when it comes to therapy exercises.

I found bookmarking whatever "hit" and blending that with traditional therapy to be extremely efficient over the last year! There is also a book version but I find find the narration relaxing.

Easy to follow. Good explanations of concepts, just wish it had more tips/techniques to follow.

A great overview and look into BPD and DBT. I did not like the voice or examples she gave. Though I do not suggest listening to this if you are about to enter a DBT group because it can seem like too much at one time. At least for me cause once I started listening . I didnt want to stop. So at least consider that.
