About this audiobook

I despise Erik Winter. He's arrogant and cruel-a man I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy-and by some twisted turn of fate, he's my new Olympic gymnastics coach.

I've had to contend with gruff coaches in the past, but Erik is far worse. His stern demeanor complements a body built for intimidation, and his reprimands come from a mouth so cunning, I know it could strip me of my defenses-if I let it.

Though each of us would love to be rid of the other forever, we are bound to each other by need and necessity. I'm his rising star, his best shot at proving himself to his critics. And without a coach, I have zero chance of winning gold in Rio.

The easiest way forward would be to wave a white flag and make peace with the man I'll be sharing close quarters with for the foreseeable future, but he is intent on war.

Contains mature themes.

This book was everything I hoped for and more! My second book by this Author and I’m totally stunned!! Hoping that there would be books about Tokyo’s Summer Games in 2020!

Erik and Brie’s story was nothing like I’ve imagined! I absolutely loved the ups and downs.....Some parts was confusing and then when you listen/read on it makes perfectly sense!

My absolute favorite part of the whole book was when they went to the Yoga class!!!! That was just mind blowing!!!!

I recommend this book highly!!!! You all will LOVE this!!!

    This is an amazing book
Interesting for the inside view into gymnastics and the olympiques. Also the steamy scenes were scorching
The yoga studio was particularly hot!

There was a lot I enjoyed about this book. I am an R.S. Grey fan. This had definite undertones of [Scoring Wilder] in it. However, this one, the gymnast was 20, the coach 29, and I thought the situations were far too manipulative to pass as simple forbidden vs a coach using power over athlete. The 20 year old was aggressive, yes, but it still seemed like the relationship was a bit unbalanced on the power scale for me. This is why I give it 3.5-along with the fact it reminded me so much of Scoring Wilder from what I recall.

Brie has made the Olympic gymnastic team and 2 months before the games Coach Winters is hospitalized. His son is chosen to take over from him. He is young and attractive and Brie has trouble staying away from him.I enjoyed this story. I liked the alternate points of view between Brie and Erik. They are well defined characters with strong opinions. I like how they learn to be vulnerable and open up after many fights and misunderstandings. Once they are on the same page, it seems they are able to work together. The secondary characters were fun. Lexi is educating them all. Rosie gets her first boyfriend at the Olympics. Molly has her first love at home waiting for her return. Erik's grandfather is cute. The story is intense. It's well done and developed. I look forward to more books in this series.
