- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Excellent and well-researched book! Fascinating! I thoroughly enjoyed it.
David L. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was really interesting, if a bit dense—the author used a large number (and wide variety) of primary source material and wading through the 16th-century verbiage took a little time. But worth it, I think, for a very vivid and far-reaching picture of all the political vicissitudes of the time. LJ review on the way.
