This book has a wealth of tools and insights into the craft of writing fiction. I'm going to get a printed copy, which I plan to keep next to my writing desk.

This extremely helpful book offers dozens of examples, making the topics it covers and the tips it offers more understandable and applicable. If being a better writer is your goal, regardless of what area of writing, this book delivers.

This should be the first, second or last book any writer or story teller should read. The philosophy within it spills over from story telling into the narrative of our life. I got a lot from this book.

The book is written by a screen writer and most of the examples are from TV and films. However this book can also apply to writing books.

On one hand, listening to this book was a good way to immerse myself in the craft of writing so that I could brainstorm and problem-solve, but on the other hand, this is mostly just clichés in listicle form. The author has no other credits to his name (as far as I can tell) and uses negative examples of movies he didn’t like to prove his points, which I found tacky.
