About this audiobook

His family's gym has produced a roster of mixed martial arts legends, but so far Kieran Kavanagh hasn't followed in their footsteps. After a brawl lands him in jail, Kieran is assigned to work at a center for at-risk youth. Though given a second chance, Kieran's simply going through the motions-until he meets one very special kid, Shea Doherty, and falls hard for her very beautiful, very grown-up big sister, Fiona. The trouble is, Kieran's best opening moves are getting him nowhere fast.

Fiona Doherty has too many responsibilities to fool around, especially now that she has custody of Shea. Sure, she'd love to find a devoted partner. But she won't jeopardize her sister's happiness-or risk revealing her tortured past-on a love-'em-and-leave-'em type of guy like Kieran, so it's up to him to prove her wrong. As Fiona spends more time with Kieran, she starts to see a softer side of the reckless warrior. Now she must admit that when it comes to the possibility of real love, well . . . there's a fighting chance.

This was a very emotional book about Kieran and Fiona. Kieran was just released from prison and is on a journey to figure out where is fits in in the family dynamics again. Working for his brother and doing his community service at the local youth shelter fills his days and leads him to one special little girl. Befriending Shea, an autistic eight year old, leads him to her sister, Fiona and the beginning of a beautiful relationship between the three of them. I love the Kavanagh family and can't wait to read more about them. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

I love the Kavanagh's. Kieran has been home from jail for only two days and he meets his 'flower girl', Fiona. She owns a flower shop and is also raising her 8yr old sister, Shea, who has autism. They connect and eventually begin a relationship. But they both have pasts they have trouble revealing to each other, which will eventually cause trouble between them. Fiona is drawn to Kieran and also his family as they are very helpful and supportive to not only Kieran but herself and Shea and her special needs. The story is very emotional at times, and it certainly has plenty of steamy bedroom action. I Loved the characters, they were amazing, Fiona definitely had a big heart and so did Kieran, he was so selfless.A very well developed story and characters, I'm looking forward to the next Kazanagh Legends book. A great read. 5/5
