About this audiobook

Neecy Lawrence, winged warrior for a Viking goddess and second-in-command of the fierce Crows, doesn't know what to do with a nice guy. As it is, making up for a past she'd sooner forget leaves her barely polite most days. But Raven leader and loyal Odin warrior, Will Yager, isn't just nice. He's gorgeous, hot, and a distraction she simply can't afford.

Yager has wanted Neecy in his life-and in his bed-for a long time. Not just for a night, but forever. And, like any self-respecting Viking, he'll stop at nothing to get what he wants. So what if she's the most difficult, complex, never-gives-him-a-break woman he's ever known? She's more than worth the effort. In fact, she's worth everything.

And if it turns out that twenty-four hours of non-stop, any-way-she-wants-it sex doesn't work with Neecy? Then it looks like he'll just have to get a little more creative . . .

Contains mature themes.

I love it when a plan comes together, and this had our hero making all the plans, and our heroine disputing them at every turn. Lots of action and fun, lots of wacky friends, a few Norse gods, and a less than easy, but highly entertaining, road to an HEA!

2.5This was not a good book for from this followed author. It was a slow start, the first 50% dragged. The second half picked up and was a lit more lively but I just couldn't connect with the characters or with was happening. The pairing of this couple, a Raven and Crow, I never got it, why did he want her so ? Yeh the author told me why but I never felt it. That lose of connection with the characters just left it flat and meh for me. I am moving on with the series beacuse i know this author and adore her stories, usually. :D

Love story of boy meets girl , falls head over heels for her and must convince her of the same. I enjoyed all of the characters in this book; it reminded me of my high school/college years & flirting with the guys. There are several hilarious scenes that will have you laughing out loud. There are also several sex scenes, but nothing to kinky.

I liked this paranormal story about bird shifters that was full of humor, had lots of hot sex and I do enjoy when the male pursues the female but rated 3.5* because I wasn't as captivated as in her other shifters books with lions and tigers and bears oh my. Raven shifter leader Yager wants hardened crow shifter Neecy.

This books is vulgar and fun!

Neecy Lawrence is a Crow. Crows are women who are murdered and given a second chance by being brought back to life by the Viking goddess Skuld. They are called The Gathering. The Crows chase, capture, (and usually) kill people who commit crimes against the Viking gods and goddesses (steal magical runes, etc).

Will Yager is a Raven. Ravens are descendants from the original protectors and warriors of the Viking god Odin.

Usually the Crows and the Ravens don’t mix and mingle but Will has only one thing on his mind, Neecy Lawrence.

I loved this book because it’s fun and silly and it doesn’t take itself too seriously. But that’s not to say the writing is bad or the plot is not well formed. This is a well written book with a good plot and well fleshed out characters. I enjoyed the relationship between Neecy and Will. One of the other things I really enjoyed about this book is that the book is an interracial romance but the author didn’t make a big deal out of it. The characters were who the characters were. The issues that the characters had in their relationship (one of Neecy’s hang ups was because she was an orphan and had become a small time hood prior to her death) was based on real things that had happened in their past or their present – it was never about the color of their skin or how much money they had.

This is book 1 of a series so I’m letting it slide that there are a few plot threads that were not tied up.
