About this audiobook
Roundman, president of the Hellions Motorcycle Club, has kept the chaos surrounding the Hellions contained for the last thirty years. When the dangerous side to their business comes knocking on his only child's doorstep, he realizes that his precious daughter-Delilah ("Doll")-isn't safe anymore.
With Doll in danger from the association she has with him and his club, Roundman makes the only decision he feels he can-send her away. Calling on the one charter club president he trusts, he sets up a ride to keep her safe, all in hopes that trouble won't follow.
Talon "Tripp" Crews has been ordered to take Doll on one ride away from the danger while the club handles the threat. She's off-limits. His head knows this, but his body can't deny the attraction. She's feisty, fierce, and fearless. Constantly in close confines together, will they give in to the desire? Can one ride turn lust into love?Contains mature themes.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Second time reading this.I absolutely love Doll and Talon is yummy
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I'll have to read this one. The female narrator was hard for me to listen too. She has a cadence that reminded me of someone reading a non fiction book. I didn't get far. Whoever produced this one, did not do a good job with the mouth noises. The female narrator had huge inhales that was super distracting.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5One ride across the country and back, on a motorcycle, sounds exhausting but easy enough? Ha. Nothing is ever easy. Tripp and Doll are about to find out what a getaway can do for your resolve!
I really liked this book. There was enough sass (haha pun not intended) and truth to keep me from putting this book down! Both of these characters are so much alike, yet neither are willing to see it. The old saying is that opposites attract, but in some cases, like this one, it is just the opposite. Sometimes two people who are so much like the other, are more of an extension of each other. This is the case here.
Stubbornness. Longing. Hard-headed. Determined. These two are embarking on a journey that will change their lives forever. They fight with themselves and with one another like there is no difference between the two. They try to keep each other at arms length. Then there is the doubt. More of the self-doubt than anything. Neither think they should be together because of who they are... even though they are practically one in the same.
This story is written so well that you will forget you are reading a book. It is almost like watching this story develop on the television. It definitely is not something you want to drag out. Once it's gets going, you don't want to stop until the story is complete... but at the same time, you almost don't want it to end! - Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5about 15% in just couldn't get into the story or the characters. The first person POV may have had partly to do with it; I've always found that POV hard to read.
I did like the cover, the one with the single guy with the left shoulder tattoo. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Weakness is like love, hold it close to your heart and only show it to those who will protect and cherish it.
So this was my first experience with this author. I’ve read a bunch of biker books and LOVE Sons of Anarchy with the passion of a thousand suns, so I went into this pleasantly optimistic. While I didn’t find it necessarily as gritty and raw as the aforementioned books and media, what was surprisingly was the tenderness in it. Here was a biker with heart, and what that heart wanted was Doll.
He’s kissing me deep into my soul. Into the place that tells me, I’m everything to him and he’s everything to me.
Delilah ‘Doll’ Reklinger is daughter of the President of the Hellions MC. She has only ever known the MC world and knows she will ONLY ever want to live there. Tripp is the President of a charter of the Hellions. As to not ruin anything for you I will briefly skim this next part. Shit hits the fan and Doll has to get out of town for a while. Trusting almost no one with his daughter, Doll takes off under the protection of Tripp. And thus is where our story really begins.
I’m lost in her right now. She owns my soul completely.
As I stated earlier, while there wasn’t a TON of what you would consider typical biker jam-packed action, there was always the constant threat of danger. And while there ARE a few things that happen that may make you cringe, what really translated throughout the book was the undeniable attraction between Doll and Tripp. One could literally see sparks whenever they would touch, their chemistry was electric. Back and forth throughout the book we see them fight their feelings, try to deny them, but when you are THAT in sync with someone, you can only fight it for so long.
She’s a heaven sent treasure, the light in the darkness, the calm in the chaos, and she’s damn sure everything to me.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it will definitely be a series I come back to. This is an extension series, NOT a continual one, so the next book will be about their friends. I cannot wait to read about Sass and Tank!!
