About this audiobook

1974: Bridgeport, Connecticut. A crowd of more than 2,000 onlookers gathered. National media reported jumping furniture, floating refrigerators, and attacking entities.

Decades after the publicity quieted, more than forty hours of never-before released interviews with police officers, firefighters, and others tell the story as it actually unfolded. In The World's Most Haunted House, listeners will:

Relive the experience, the terror, the rampant emotions, and the unexplainable events that took place in that house as they happened
Have access to revealing excerpts from actual interviews, police reports, and rare documents
Access unreleased audio, poltergeist sounds, and an old radio broadcast

With The World's Most Haunted House, return to 1974 and feel the Lindley Street experience from the inside. Find out why it is deemed the haunting that should have brought the paranormal into mainstream science.

It’s hard to say this book is great if you believe the events detailed are true. These events happened to a real family. A family, who had already experienced real sadness and tragedy, before these events happened. My heart grieves for them. I long to know if they had good and happy years after 1976. The Goodin’s didn’t deserve these attacks, neither the supernatural ones, nor the attacks of the natural world given by some co-workers, on lookers, and such. So why do I think this book is great? It is the author’s well presented facts, as well as, his careful and respectful study of the possibilities. The kindness he has shown toward the family and those that investigated should be regarded. I feel a fair analysis was made. The audio version was an easy listen. It flowed well and kept my interest. The questions that remain as to what occurred on Lindley Street are not easy.
