About this audiobook

The latest thriller from bestselling author, Andy McDermott. For fans of Tom Clancy and Matthew Reilly.

Adam Gray is the ultimate spy... As the lead agent of the US government's top-secret Persona project, he is its most valuable weapon in the War on Terror. Experimental technology enables him to take on the personality - and memories - of anyone; be it a Russian arms dealer, a high-stakes gambler or a nuclear scientist. Whatever secrets they know, he knows.

But the most dangerous secrets of all... are his own.

When Adam hunts a terrorist plotting to murder millions, he begins to realise that, although he can delve into the minds of others, his own memories are a mystery. Hidden in his past is the key to a deadly conspiracy - and its masterminds will stop at nothing to conceal their crimes...

Interesting concept, and I feel sure this is the start of a new series but I did find myself speed reading it in parts. It just didn't gel despite a decent plotline. Maybe it was the characters?

Really enjoyed this book, a plot based on a new tech that could be used to stop attacks it kept me intrested all the way through the book, i am looking forward to the next one in the series.

Something a little bit different from Andy McDermott with Persona Protocol; different in that Nina and Eddie aren't being shot at in this one. But there is still plenty to enjoy about this techno-spy-thriller, not starring Nina and Eddie, but instead Adam and Bianca.

Andy again delivers his mix of breakneck pacing and humour that are the reason I enjoy his books so much. I think this departure from the Nina and Eddie series of archaeological adventures (is it still archaeology if they destroy most of the stuff they find?) is every bit as good, and I hope to see more of these departures from Andy.
