About this audiobook

A No.1 e-book bestseller, perfect for fans of Ruth Ware, Shari Lapena and Clare Mackintosh.

Two suburban women. Two dark secrets. The almost perfect murder.

Everybody needs good neighbours…

Melissa and Hester have lived next door to each other for years. When Melissa’s daughter was younger, Hester was almost like a grandmother to her. But recently they haven’t been so close.

Hester has plans to change all that. It’s obvious to her that despite Melissa’s outwardly glamorous and successful life, she needs Hester’s help.

But taking help from Hester might not be such a good idea for a woman with as many secrets as Melissa…

I was thoroughly annoyed with these characters. Its believable let your personal experiences can impact your reactions to situations. I found myself wanting to scream outloud in frustration! That said, the book kept me engaged to the end. Good read :)

A very interesting story that takes you to a totally different place when thinking of a murderer and the stereotypes we hold. Great twist!

I thought this book was really unique with its choice of characters/storyline. I LOVED the narrator who read Hester, she was brilliant and I really believed her character. Overall a great story, well worth a read.

I didn’t like the ending, there were so many ways this book could have finished.

The best word I can think of to describe this book is quirky. What you expect doesn’t happen. What you don’t expect doesn’t happen. Pretty much everything that happens is not even something I had thought of because books just don’t get written that way, right?
