- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I love the series and it reminds me of how many times I read it when I was a kid.
However! Anyone from Lancaster, PA would know the narrater is pronouncing two words wrong!
It is not Lang-cast-er. It is Lanc-a-ster.
The Lanc is pronounced like the lank in lanky and the a is pronounced like u in but.
The other word is Zook. It is not pronounced like zoo with a k. It is pronounced like cook, but with a z. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5When Lissa shows up injured late at night, Merry helps keep her safe until she feels strong enough to reveal her abuse to the police.
