The highly anticipated memoir by bestselling author Glennon Doyle Melton, Love Warrior tells the story of her journey of self-discovery after the implosion of her marriage.
Just when Glennon Doyle Melton was beginning to feel she had it all figured out—three happy children, a doting spouse, and a writing career so successful that her first book catapulted to the top of the New York Times bestseller list—her husband revealed his infidelity and she was forced to realize that nothing was as it seemed. A recovering alcoholic and bulimic, Glennon found that rock bottom was a familiar place. In the midst of crisis, she knew to hold on to what she discovered in recovery: that her deepest pain has always held within it an invitation to a richer life.
Love Warrior is the story of one marriage, but it is also the story of the healing that is possible for any of us when we refuse to settle for good enough and begin to face pain and love head-on. This astonishing memoir reveals how our ideals of masculinity and femininity can make it impossible for a man and a woman to truly know one another—and it captures the beauty that unfolds when one couple commits to unlearning everything they’ve been taught so that they can finally, after thirteen years of marriage, commit to living true—true to themselves and to each other.
Love Warrior is a gorgeous and inspiring account of how we are born to be warriors: strong, powerful, and brave; able to confront the pain and claim the love that exists for us all. This chronicle of a beautiful, brutal journey speaks to anyone who yearns for deeper, truer relationships and a more abundant, authentic life.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was an amazing book with truths that I’ve lived with and never been able to articulate. The author says what many of us feel inside, and would never share with anyone. Listening to her story, brought back truths that I lived through in my marriage, and was too afraid to be real about. Thank you for reminding me that I am a warrior!!!....and that I am not alone.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved it! Really could relate and helped me learn to love myself and have boundaries
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This book was a bit uneven for me. On one hand, the author is all about honesty and being open, but there were two major issues that got really glossed over. She mentions that she has an eating disorder, but seems to be cured by eating one cheeseburger with her husband. She also has all these issues with having sex, but once she decides to have sex with her husband, those issues disappear. I would have liked more details and honesty about what her healing from those issues looks like and less rambling about her feelings during yoga class. It feels like there is a forced self help vibe without explaining what the work actually looks like.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5She speaks how I think. Now I can say it! There are others like me. It's worth the search. Skabooch
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5So many topics that hit home. Amazing! A must listen!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Truly awesome! Finished in 1 day. Easy listen and keeps your attention throughout
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I met Glennon through Untamed. And I obviously fell in love. She makes me feel seen in a way I didn’t know was possible. I decided to read her other books and started with Carry On, Warrior. It wasn’t my favorite. But that’s just because I’m not very religious these days. But it was very cool to see how much she has grown over the course of her books. This one was great. So honest. So raw. So beautiful. Thank you Glennon. You are a gift.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Second reading of this one for me. It starts a little slow but you really begin to delve into the motivations of the individual around chapter 7 and I think it finishes strong. It's definitely a book that I have referenced with clients and in counseling especially those that are struggling to know themselves.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Its a great listen but the audio file in scribd go blank for few seconds multiple times. I felt cheated for listening the book in this way. However, as the topic was gripping, I kept on going and kept my attention to the book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Powerful, Raw, Sincere, Insightful, Humorous,& Heartbreaking! I had a heard time putting it down. Highly recommend it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Inspiring, heart felt truth, an awakening of the inner self. Thank you for sharing your story Glennonn. For helping me to look inside and begin my journey of finding myself which feels like it's been lost for decades.
