About this audiobook

Before the battle of the SandWing queens; before the prophecy and the dragonets sent to save Pyrrhia from endless war; a long, long time ago...evil was born.

In alternating chapters this Wings of Fire special edition takes listeners back to the very beginning, when powerful, mythical dragons Clearsight, Fathom, and Darkstalker—the most dangerous dragon of all—were just dragonets. When the future was bright and uncertain, when no one had been betrayed or had their heart broken.

This is the origin story that changes everything.

Author

Tui T Sutherland

Tui T. Sutherland & Kari Sutherland are sisters and best friends, and if you can’t tell by looking at them which one is older, Tui certainly isn’t going to tell you. They grew up in South America, traveling a lot and moving several times (and they’re still only about 80 percent certain that their parents weren’t secret agents). Kari now lives in California, while Tui lives in Boston, but they use every excuse they can to see each other (like, say, writing a book together).

Ack! I love this wof book so much, my favourite out of the whole series. Its got the perfect balance of gore and happiness. It makes DarkStalkers story less confusing and really ties the first ten books together!

I loved this book and if only Moonwatcher could have read this, it would have helped her do sooooooo much more god and maybe helped Peril not unleash the world’s greatest evil upon the lands of the dragon world! Now I just feel like I’m making a prophecy. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh please nooooo. Anyway five stars out of five stars. Very gruesome with the details on how Darkstalker mad Arctic dismember himself.

Why doesn’t someone just take this child to a therapist. Or “dispose” of him it would make everyone a lot happier and it would be easy because he’s a child

I enjoyed the characters but they went from innocent and naive to bold and evil then clueless again I had to go back a few times to see what happened. Their names can use a little more imagination some were just dumb and I got distracted with thinking “is that really his/her name?” I did get through the whole book and it’s been months since a book was this interesting. After listening to the next Introduction to Book 2 ( a little overwhelming amount of Dragon species and Powers dont you think?) I don’t know what to expect after that earthquake….. but I am excited to find out and hopefully make it to the end. I have at least ten unfinished books and I’m glad I found Tui T. I enjoyed her narration of all the characters. Very well done.
