About this audiobook

A memorable ensemble cast of four young women who share a beautiful loft apartment in New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen and experience the glamour and challenges of city life, love, and career in this irresistible contemporary story.

Four young women’s lives intersect in the apartment they’ve shared in Hell’s Kitchen: Claire, a shoe designer; Abby, an aspiring novelist; Morgan, a successful financial consultant; and Sasha, a resident in obstetrics. As different as they are from one another, the women had become a family by choice. But while their lives had proceeded smoothly in the years they’d lived together, new relationships, job opportunities, and surprising circumstances will test the strength of their bond in and outside the loft that had become their home.

The apartment by Danielle SteelVery interesting book about 4 women, from different backgrounds and working in 4 different fields.Shoe designer, wall street investor, obgyn doctor and a screen writer. We get to not only learn about their careers but also how they get along with one another and help each other out.Fascinating they live in an apartment above a Hell's Kitchen bar-I've watched movies about this area and found them cool to see.One also has a model twin, another has a gay brother who visits and others are going through different stages of dating. When things go wrong there's lots of action, adventure, drugs, embezzlement, romance and travel-something for everyone.Love this author's books. Bit confusing at times as there are four main characters and they come with relatives and friends.I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).

4 girls sharing an apartment in NYC. They get along very well and they're finding their own niche in everyday living. It was a pretty good storyline for each of them. Their lives are believable. I'm sure we all know some people with out of ordinary lives.

I like to read Danielle Steel. I think this book depicts current trends in housing and relationships that can develop. Some of her books are better and some are worse.

If you said an apartment is the main character in this book you would not be wrong. Four young women share an apartment and the novel tells us about a period in their lives. Since this involves their boy friends, bosses, and parents too the plot gets quite complicated. All the loose ends are tied and one leaves the book at the end feeling satisfied. Not a great book but if you want some light reading go for it.

I loved this story. In the beginning it was hard to keep track of the 4 main characters, but this is true of many books, and I quickly had them sorted out. There were a few surprises, and it all made for a great story.
