OK, I finally have read the sequel trilogy to the Petaybee books. I think one well written book could have replaced these 3 books and all would have been well.

Definitely a fun romp.Marmee has been arrested for "kidnapping" the Haluans. (Technically true - 'it's easier to beg forgiveness than attain permission') It's the Shongili twins to the rescue. While their parents deal with a planetary invasion bent on forcibly relocating the entire Petaybeean population to a prison planet (a death sentence for said population as they cannot LEAVE their home world), The twins hitch a ride with intelligent Aliens to Marmee's station - only to find it occupied and themselves transported to said prison world - Just in time to face a world-catastrophe!It was easy to drop in and get lost in this latest Petaybeean romp.

Better than book 2, but not as good as book 1. Still a cute series that I'm glad I read.
