About this audiobook

The final electrifying installment in the #1 New York Times bestselling vampyre series

Zoey Redbird is in trouble. Having released the Seer Stone to Aphrodite, and surrendered herself to the Tulsa Police, she has isolated herself from her friends and mentors, determined to face the punishment she deserves—even if that means her body will reject the change, and begin to die. Only the love of those closest to her can save her from the Darkness in her spirit; but a terrible evil has emerged from the shadows, more powerful than ever…

Neferet has finally made herself known to mortals. Crowning herself a Dark Goddess, she is evil unleashed and is enslaving the citizens of Tulsa. The vampyres of the House of Night have banded with the police, and are gathering every last resource they have, but they know that no single vampyre is strong enough to vanquish her—unless that vampyre has the power to summon the elements as well as the ability to wield Old Magick. Only Zoey is heir to such power…but because of the consequences of using Old Magick, she is unable to help.

In the final novel in the House of Night series, an epic battle of Light versus Darkness will decide who is redeemed…and who is forever lost.

I read some of these books in jr. High but than moved and never had a chance to finish them. I was so happy to find them here! As a busy mom I don't have a chance to sit down and read so I was glad to find an audiobook!

I had been worried for some time now that this series could not hold strong until the end. I was worried it would get cheesy and predictable and I wouldn't want to read it anymore. I was wrong, this series ended strongly with this book. I found myself moved to tears as I read and when I finished I realized how much I am going to miss all of these characters. This story is the epic conclusion, the final battle of Good Vs. Evil, HoN vs. Neferet. As there has to be in any epic battle, there were losses (hence the tears,) and decisions to be made that were not easy. If you've been a fan of the series, even if you had lost interested and stepped away, I recommend finishing it out and reading this book.

Glad I'm done with this series. I wanted to see how it ended.

It took me a while to finish reading/listening to this book. First, because it's the last book of the series. Second is because I had a lot of distractions and priorities in the past months. Third, I had to move from one medium to the other and I settled with subscribing to Scribd to finish listening to it.

Story wise, I hated the idea that Heath became a vessel. I guess, I'm team Heath than team Stark. It kinda puzzles me why they have to kill off another character to make way for a new one. 'Though it's a good twist, I still miss that character even if she turned into a villain. Also, I think the characters in this book made a lot of poor decisions. All in all, I am still looking forward to the next books of P.C and Kristin Cast.

This is the 12th and last book in the House of Night series. House of Night series has changed a lot since it first debuted. I really loved the first 4 books, but sadly for me it went down hill. Even though I'm so over the villain Neferet, I thought Redeemed was good read for a last book. I was mostly interested to see how things will end for Zoey and her friends. I was satisfied with the end, I think most fans of the series will be too.I look forward to seeing what P.C. & Kristin Cast do next, I just hope it has no connection with the House of Night world.

I'm sad this series is over, but I'm happy with the way all the loose ends tied up. I wasn't quite sure how Zoey would work out her love life, but it worked out the way I would have wanted- ditto on the Neferet situation. I was a bit surprised by the epilogue, but it was fitting.

Well well well...the last book of the House of Night Series...
I read the first 11 books what felt like eons ago, so picking this book up and reading it proved difficult. BUT! It actually wasn't too bad.

    WHAT I DISLIKED...
I guess this is being unfair to the series, but since it's been such a long time since I've read the previous books, that means that I've read other books along the way. And those books have enlightened me to the mind-blowing fact...that these books aren't the best books in the world. Don't get me wrong, I loved these books once upon a time, but now that my horizon has widened just a bit more, I see that this book could have been better.

One particular character I wouldn't mind seeing more character development in was Zoey. She is the main character in the series, and there have been 12 books for her to develop, but despite all that, she hasn't changed as much as I'd like her too. I feel like she is still reacting in some situations similar to a petulant little child.

    WHAT I LIKED...
The storyline. Besides the lack of character development, I believe the story itself was quite good. The ending was well written as well, given the many books that were published, the ending was fitting.

Many people have said that it's past time for the authors to conclude this series once and for all, saying that the previous few books have been "fillers". Many others have told those people to shut it. Although I found myself agreeing to the former group through some of the books, I also found myself nodding along the latter group as well. Nonetheless, I'm proud to say that I've finished this entire series, and all in all, I quite enjoyed it.

As this series has come to an end, I found myself reminiscing how the years went by as I read each book, and how Marked, the first book in the series, was one of the first YA books I've read. I'd be lying if I said I didn't get the slightest bit emotional over the finale of the series. I will miss Zoey and her Nerd Herd.
