I love all of the Curtis Black series. However, I wish there was a better narrator for this. Kind of annoying. Just my opinion.

Curtis Curtis Curtis. A good read, this book shows how we expect so much of the men in position to set examples and sometimes we fail to realize they are human beings.

Great story that makes you want to keep listening. I accidentally read this one first and it recapped well enough so I wasn't ever lost on what had happened in the past. I shook my head a lot... Curtis is a snake and uses tons of toxic narsisitic tactics to slime his way through. There was just enough drama and it totally hooked me. On to the next book!

This was a great book and the narration was superb. Now I need to read the next book in this series.

Kimberla Lawson Roby does it again with another great book on the foolishness that is Curtis Black. The lies that this man tells and the ways that he is able to get over on people are crazy, but also believable, unfortunately. The narrator did a great job of bringing all of the characters to life as well. Great book, and I’m looking forward to the next one!

This was my second read to complete the Reverend Curtis Black Series. This man was so corrupt in every sense. I wanted to scream at all the women who came near him. Although I was irritated with the characters in this novel, the story is well written by Kimberla Lawson Roby. Well, on to the 3rd book in the series "The Best Kept Secret".

Charismatic Curtis Black is the worst sort of scoundrel, but that doesn’t keep the women in his life from loving and trusting him. In this second installment, it appears that at first, Curtis is managing to juggle all his women, but a leopard can’t change its spots and Curtis can’t control his urges. The author does a great job in portraying and developing the characters, making Curtis as despicable as possible. Yet, the end may surprise readers. And while you may really, really dislike Curtis, you will likely want to read the next book to see what happens in the lives of these characters.
