      I like the story but I would like to know what is the next book after this book. The books are Not numbered so I can find out the ending. If the books aren't numbered then don't separate the story into a lot of books. I would like one request. Please tell me how this story ends. Thank you.

      I just finished reading The Lover’s Promise. It is the third book written in the No Exceptions series written by J.C. Reed. Brooke is convinced that Jett never cared for her at all. She believes that all he wanted to do was use her for sex and toss her aside like the rest. Can she discover the truth before it’s too late? Can she let him go without her world shattering? Then she finds out he could be a murder suspect in two separate murder cases. Jett knows he’s kept too many secrets, but it’s for the greater good. Can he convince Brooke that he really loves her or has he lost her for good?I really enjoyed this book. It was intense. It was thought provoking. It was emotionally wrenching. What more could an avid book lover ask for? The only problem I had is a problem I set up for myself. This is the only book I’ve read in the series. Luckily though, I found that it can kind of be read as a stand-alone. I’d recommend reading them all in order though. I plan to re-read this book after I’ve read the first two. Other than that, I really enjoyed this.I must put in this review that this book does have some mature languages. I do not recommend it to people who shy away from excessive cursing. I’m one of those people who don’t really mind it. Sometimes it adds a little color and personality to the book. Other than that, I don’t really see anything wrong with this book. It was well written and well thought out. It was very thought provoking. I do fully recommend this book. Not many books have fully gotten me on the edge like this book did. It was amazing how well the author wrote this book. If the reader can handle a bit of excessive cursing now and then, this is a perfect book (and series) for them to get into. I’m glad that I had the opportunity to read this book. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series by this author. I plan to read her entire book collection actually, not just this series.
