What a thrilling story! Rachel and her new husband have been married just six months when she starts acting "weird". Josh has no clue what is going on and it makes him think Rachel is hiding secrets from him. Meanwhile Dexter Bates, a former cop, is now out of prison for attempting to kill Rachel - but at the time she wasn't Rachel, she was his wife Joy. And this is the secret Rachel is hiding from Josh - she has completely changed her identity and appearance to hide from Dexter. But can she escape this psycho ex cop gone bad? She takes off for parts unknown, leaving Josh to figure out on his own just what is going on. As Dexter does what he can to anyone who may have possible info as to where Rachel might be she continues to hide and wonders if she can get away alive for a second time. I devoured this book in one sitting. A thriller to keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page.
