Is Gordon Korman still popular? This book, part of the Swindle series, is still in print and still fun to read, even as an adult. Now is a great time to reintroduce Korman to your upper elementary aged readers.

Swindle from the first book has returned to kidnap Luther the dog and use him to make money from dog shows. Griffin and his friends hide Luther at the various summers camps the are attending. It was interesting that every hideout where the kids put Luther had its own section in the book. I liked this book the best in the series so far.
