A satisfactory conclusion to the Broadmoor Legacy series that details the lives of three cousins; the first book highlights the life of Fanny Broadmoor, the second book highlights her cousin Sophie Broadmoor, and the third and final book deals with the life of their cousin Amanda Broadmoor. While Fanny is compromised by her father's suicide and her uncle's avarice, Sophie is compromised by her need for her father's attention, and her playful and sometimes wild spirit. Amanda, the third of the group is the most aware of the social obligations of her station in life, while still desiring to spread her wings and venture into a career that is largely forbidden to women of her time. In this story, the reader is drawn into Amanda's world, hoping against hope that she will somehow be allowed to pursue her passion. Her father's bad choices lead to despair for the young woman until God intervenes to provide her with hope.
