About this audiobook

Courtney Robertson joined season sixteen of The Bachelor looking for love. A working model and newly single, Courtney fit the casting call: She was young, beautiful, and a natural in front of the cameras. As the season unfolded and sparks began to fly, it became clear: She was not there to make friends.

Courtney quickly became one of the biggest villains in Bachelor franchise history. She unapologetically pursued her man, steamrolled her competition, and broke the rules. Now, after a very public breakup with her Bachelor, Ben Flajnik, Courtney dishes on life before, during, and after The Bachelor, including Ben's romantic proposal to her on a Swiss mountaintop and the tabloid frenzy that continued after the cameras stopped rolling.

Complete with stories, tips, tricks, and advice from your favorite Bachelor alumni, and filled with all the juicy details Courtney fans and foes alike want to know, I Didn't Come Here to Make Friends is a must-listen for every member of Bachelor nation.

I enjoyed hearing the whole story from Courtney's perspective. Just be aware that it has some very graphic sexual details! Also on the audiobook version, it seemed like it cut off some words/details at the very end of each chapter. The audio recording would be mid sentence, then read "chapter X...". Not sure what details I missed.

Loved the juicy bachelor world inside info. However, the recording was choppy and would cut in and out a lot

I knew this book was a guilty read going in. Not sure what I expected, but found nothing exciting or different in this book vs TV. Ok beach read, especially if you watched this season of the Bachelor.

I am a huge Bachelor/Bachelorette fan and I loved this book! I was not a fan of Courtney when I watched her season but after reading her side, I completely changed my tune. I also loved all the gossipy bits she included about behind the scenes and other people from Bachelor Nation.

A quick trashy read. Courtney certainly did not go on the show to make friends, and I doubt she'll make any with this tattletale book. Not surprising not many people like her, she's not a very nice person. I had fun reading it because I like the show, but sure as he'll don't like her.

If this was written for redemption it backfired horribly. I actually didn't mind Courtney until I read this. She tries very hard to manipulate the reader in this poor me sob story. Endless contradictions. Waste of money.

Here's the thing about Courtney's book -- you go into it knowing it's just for fun and not to take it too seriously. If you're an avid Bachelor fan, then this is fun reading, for sure; she gives lots of informational tidbits and even more teasers. However, and I doubt this is the case, if this is Courtney's way of excising the title of "Bachelor villain" from her social media title, then this book did not complete that task. Yes, she tries to explain (make excuses for?) her actions. BUT...she continuously insults people, both those close to her and those who really had nothing to do with her. Some of the information she shared, she didn't HAVE to share to make the book interesting -- she shared it because she wanted to be rude, plain and simple. And maybe that's her goal, to retain her title of Bachelor Villain; this book certainly makes the case for that. It certainly did not make me like her.

I don't think she was quite the villain she was painted to be. She seems to be quite honest (if more than a little crude,) but not ENTIRELY self-aware (though who among us is entirely so?)A quick, interesting read (if you like that sort of thing.)(and...apropos of nothing, i want to go on a reality show and repeatedly say:"I just came here to make friends, and have a good time...")
