I received this arc in exchange for an honest review

This is the debut novel for this author, and it can definitely say it is a must read.

Two people come together, who both have a darkness about them.
Their love is so fierce that they cannot stay away from each other

This is a well written book and we have a very talented author here.
The book does end in a cliffhanger, so now I have to patiently wait for the release of the next one.
Thing is I'm not really that patient, I want it now

5 "Trust Me with Your Dark Side" Stars! I loved this great motorcycle club (MC) romance which had just the right balance between dark/gritty and erotic without venturing so far that I would call this a dark romance. Further adding to this story's allure is the creative and twisty plot which shocked me with a huge twist towards the end. I have to say I never saw that coming! But please note, this romance does end in a heart stopping cliffhanger, and I, for one, am clamoring for Book 2 which releases October 31, 2014! I can't wait to hear more about Shadow and Dani as well as the Devil's Dust MC! Danielle "Dani" Lexington has led a very sheltered life. Her mom has made it her mission to make sure Dani never has an opportunity to get into trouble in any way. Repeatedly throwing it in her face that she is "just like her father", Dani hasn't been afforded with the luxury of meeting him in order to understand what she means. Then one night, her world is turned upside down as her mother rushes her off to her father. Given but a few minutes to pack up and leave the only home she has ever known (in New York), her mother drags Dani to Los Angeles where she seeks the protection of Dani's father, a known dangerous, outlaw MC member named, Leo "Bull" Goodman, who also happens to be the Devil's Dust MC's President. While her mother is willing to bring Dani into Bull's world, she still constantly forbids her to take part in it in any way. Notwithstanding all her mother's warnings, however, Dani's plane has barely landed in LA when she begins to fall for Shadow, the Sargent at Arms of the Devil's Dust MC. Dani has had very little interaction with men, in fact she is still a virgin, but she doesn't need to be experienced to know that Shadow is exactly the kind of man she should be staying as far away from as possible. Not only is Shadow a sexy bad boy with an evil, dark side, but it's against club rules for any member to date the MC's President's daughter. Can Dani learn to follow the MC's rules, particularly when she can't help being drawn to Shadow? As if that isn't bad enough, Dani will soon need to not only deal with her budding sexuality and undeniable attraction to Shadow, but also with her own proclivities towards violence. Was her mother correct, that Dani is actually too much like her father for her own good? Shadow has grown up with a mother who will do anything for a fix, even abandon her own son. The only place he has ever felt a true connection is with his Devil's Dust MC family. He is loyal to a T and will do anything for his Club, but is he capable of resisting his unique attraction to Dani? A relationship has never even been a thought for him, but Dani makes him feels things he knows he has no right to feel. Moreover, he is convinced that the minute she sees the darkness that fills his soul, a side of him so rife with violence that it is beyond redemption, that her sweet innocence will be left with no choice but to turn away from him. What a deliciously good MC romance! The forbidden nature of this romance adds an extra element of suspense and allure that heightened the romance for me. Additionally, I loved the way Dani and Shadow evolve with each other. It's as if their togetherness makes them more self aware, including of their inner demons. But is a tough "bad" side always wrong, or may it just be the path to their salvation and true happiness?I can't wait for The Scars that Define Us! When loyalties are tested, and true motivations and instincts are tested, can their possibly be a HEA in store for Dani and Shadow?Source: Review copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.
