- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was a fantastic book! I enjoyed the plot, character development, and the pastor's sermon. There was something for everyone. Will affairs happen? Will loved characters die? Will couples get back together? Will criminals pay? Will justice be served? Victoria Christopher Murray is a brilliant story teller and her narrator was great to listen to. I highly recommend this book.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5In Sins of the Mother, the Jasmine saga continues. Victoria Christopher Murray wastes little time launching the central storyline surrounding the abduction of Jasmine and Hosea’s daughter, Jacquie. The abduction threatens not only Jasmine’s sanity but her faith and marriage as well. Can the Bushes and Lewis’s survive the strong magnetism pulling Jasmine and Brian together once again? Although, there were parts that I felt dragged on too long, overall the story captivated my attention with a tale of heartache, hope, passion, suspense, and faith. Even without having read Lady Jasmine, I found no problems following the story and highly recommend Sins of the Mother. Ms Murray continues to be one of my favorite authors.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Will Jasmine every stop?! Just when I thought she couldn't get any worse, she does. But this time, was her craziness warranted? I mean, what would you do if your child was abducted? I enjoyed following Jasmine as she went through all types of emotions as she fought with authorities who thought she had something to do with her child's abduction, blaming long-time bestfriends for having something to do with it, and even trying to fall into the arms of the her child's father, who happens to not be her husband.Unlike the other Jasmine books, this one has a vey serious message. One that I wasn't expecting to get into with this book and one that had my heart hurting.
