Received this book Early Reviewers give away. This was the second Ace Atkins book (Colson) that I have read and I would say i enjoy his writing style. The book was a nice mix of Good vs. Evil and certainly kept my attention throughout. I would have to say that I was very displeased with the ending of the book, seems like Atkins got to the final 30 pages and decided to pack it in and be done. Don't like how Quinn and Lillie became the potential bad people. Bad ending.

this series continues to be fantastic! The lead character Quinn, is like-able and the area of Mississippi the series is set in a dark and ,Messed up place. the one thing I would like to see is some closure as it relates to Quinn"s sister and Quinn as well as the main bad guy in the county who also returns in this third book.
