Hans Christian Andersen was a Danish author best known for writing children's stories including "The Little Mermaid" and "The Ugly Duckling." Andersen achieved worldwide fame for writing innovative and influential fairy tales. He was the first Danish author to emerge from the lowest class. He enjoyed fame as a novelist, dramatist, and poet, but his fairy tales are his greatest contribution to world literature. The Loveliest Rose In The World tells us a story of a queen who had a marvelous flower garden with flowers from all over the world. She especially loved roses in all their forms. But one day she got sick and nothing could help her. However, a wise man said that the only remedy for her would be the loveliest rose in the world. And if she could see the loveliest rose before her death, she would recover...Will this rose be ever found? Who will find it? Find it out!
