Author

Matthew Dunn

As an MI6 field officer, Matthew Dunn recruited and ran agents, coordinated and participated in special operations, and acted in deep-cover roles throughout the world. He operated in environments where, if captured, he would have been executed. Dunn was trained in all aspects of intelligence collection, deep- cover deployments, small arms, explosives, military unarmed combat, surveillance, and infiltration. Medals are never awarded to modern MI6 officers, but Dunn was the recipient of a rare personal commendation from the secretary of state for work he did on one mission, which was deemed so significant that it directly influenced the success of a major international incident. During his time in MI6, Matthew conducted approximately seventy missions. All of them were successful. He currently lives in England, where he is at work on his next novel.

It is one reading experience to read any work of fiction on spycraft by an author who is or has utilized good researchers. It is an incredible reading experience to read the novel by Matthew Dunn who spent 5 years in the British Secret Intelligence Service, commonly known as MI6, as a field operative. With his personal experiences of conducting ~70 successful missions and with significant experience of working with highly-specialized units of the British SAS and SBS as well as joint-operations with MI5, GCHQ, the CIA, and BND, there is an authenticity that is unmatched. This novel should top the list for Spy Thrillers and Espionage Novels!

He has become a traitor to the CIA, FBI, and others. On the run, surviving the elements from one country to the next, and no one to trust, he must prove his innocence. Will has no concerns for his own life. He only wants to survive long enough to make the people responsible pay for their indiscretions and betrayal with the ultimate justice delivered by his own hand.I will not be able to do this book justice. Absolute entertainment is a small beginning. Will Cochrane is an outstanding dominate character. Along with the other members and their secrets, and betrayals has left me in complete amazement. The story moves at an incredible pace. Inside this brilliant story is sneaky, underhanded betrayal, romance, intrigue, and murder. The writing flows so smoothly that you will not be able to put it down. Emotions run on high the entire time. Unending suspense will have you on the edge of your seat the entire time. An Extraordinary read. A must have addition to your library. Highly recommended 5/5.

This is the fourth in the Will Cochrane spy series and as thrilling as the previous stories. Cochrane is part of a mission that fails and becomes wanted himself and he has to keep himself alive long enough to find out what the hell is going on. The author, a former MI6 field officer, uses his experiences to produce a very fast paced exciting thriller. If you are looking for an exhilarating read and not concerned about realistic situations, this is one to do it. I do suggest reading the others in the series so you know who the characters are though.
