About this audiobook

The triumphant conclusion to New York Times bestselling author Claudia Gray's dazzling Spellcaster series.

To save the lives of countless people in Captive's Sound, Nadia swore herself to the One Beneath—to black magic. Her plan, and the town's only hope, is for Nadia to learn enough sorcery to strike back against the forces of evil. But now that she's separated from her friends, her family, and her Steadfast, Mateo, Nadia is more vulnerable than ever to the growing darkness.

The final battle lines are drawn, surprising alliances are made, and true love is tested in the action-packed conclusion to the breathtaking Spellcaster series.

Claudia Gray

Claudia Gray is the pseudonym of New Orleans-based writer Amy Vincent, the author of the New York Times bestselling Evernight series. She has worked as a lawyer, a journalist, a disc jockey, and an extremely poor waitress. Her grandparents' copy of Mysteries of the Unexplained is probably the genesis of her fascination with most things mysterious and/or inexplicable.

As with the other two books in this series, I thought this was amazing. Nothing felt rushed, and the characters didn't suddenly become unbearable as they do in most series I've read. The entire thing was just as charming as the other two books. Overall, I believe this series was very strong, and I can see myself rereading very soon.

The end of this was ok. Once again the romance and stuff makes me a bit sick with how thick it was laid on. The characters were well laid out though and it made for a good, one-time read.

Because it's difficult for me to drop a series I continued to read the trilogy...it was ok.

Forced to serve The One Beneath in order to save her town, Nadia is now working with the evil Elizabeth with the intent of merging hell and earth and allowing the One Beneath to walk the earth. But Nadia and her friends are intent on stopping Elizabeth at any cost.I really like this book. I have read the others in the series and they are all really entertaining. I find all the characters, even Elizabeth, well developed. And there is action and romance. It is Young Adult so although somewhat dark, it is not overly so. And there is a HEA feel to it. But after reading so many dark paranormals this was nice for a change.
