About this audiobook

Desperation has led Anne-Sophia Duncombe to a life of exile. Still, she is always just one mistake away from capture and a marriage she would rather die than endure. As a last resort to remain hidden from her former life, Sophia attempts a radical scheme: a life of humility and disguise.

Rumor has it that Wilhelm Montegue, the Earl of Devon, is insane. A tormented war hero haunted by scandal, he is only tolerated because of his brilliant mind and swarthy good looks. His unmentionable "condition," which keeps him confined to his country home, is also the source of his talent for composing music.

When a new housemaid is hired at Rougemont, Lord Devon is perplexed to find himself fascinated by her. He knows the exquisite beauty is keeping secrets but her siren's voice draws him ever closer, and he can't resist the intoxicating scent of danger surrounding her.

SONG FOR SOPHIA by Moriah Densley is an excited Victorian Historical Romance. a genius in his time, and a spy, Wilhelm Montegue, Earl of Devon, has Savant Syndrome,is an artistic hero,a war hero with a scar, and has a tortured soul and a brilliant mind. Lady Anne-Sophronia Duncombe, is exiled from her home by her villainous father, Lord Chauncey, as an abused runaway with scars of her own in hiding from her abusive father, she hides as a housemaid on Lord Devon's estate. Follow these two characters as they struggle with scars, both physical and mental, seen and unseen, fight their growing passion, face off with an enemy who would do anything to get his abused daughter back under his control and marry her off to a repulsive man,his partner, Lowdry. Fast paced with engaging characters, as well as an intriguing storyline. A must read! Ms. Densley will integrate you into the lives of her characters, you will feel their pain, their triumphs, with twists and turns, you won't see coming. An awesome story! I could not put it down. Two scarred souls come together to find happiness, love and peace. While the sensual scenes are passionate, it is not all about the sex,but about the lives and souls of Lady Anne, and Lord Devan. Well done, indeed!! Received for an honest review from the author.RATING: 4.5HEAT RATING: HOTREVIEWED BY: AprilR, Review courtesy of My Book Addiction and More
