      The female main character is hard to like… she was petty and vengeful. You understand where she was coming from but by chapter 6 all you want is for her to get over herself.

      Liked this book.It had cool characters although the storyline kept bouncing back and forth like the author couldnt decide whether this was an action suspense book or a love story.The sex scenes were great but having the character Jessa take on the BDSM world with Cole seemed farfetched.I was like really from virgin to getting off on being a submissive unrealistic.Its not good when you just want to listen to the last chapter because you got sick of the story..I will listen to one more book but if im jumping to the final chapter halfway through i wont be reading or listening to this author anymore..It is what it is.

      Showed different sides of a relationship. Figured out pretty quickly who had been turned and who helped the bad guy. A little anti-climatic

      Another great collaboration by two of my favorite
      authors.

      You got the sweet, the innocent, and the brooder.

      Lessons can be hard won when you are young and naive.
      Experience deals out tough lessons, as our heroine learns.

      But when hearts are involved, nothing is easy.

      I am loving this series and looking forward to
      the books that follow in this series.

      I really am enjoying this series. Cole and Burke were so hot and so very alpha. The story is well written and the characters are for the most part lovable and believable. The sex scenes are steamy hot and flow very smoothly. The bad guys were truly evil and irredeemable. The bad guys and the wicked secretary get what they deserve in the end. I was kind of hoping the secretary would get a little more than she did actually. The only thing that I saw that was wrong was the bullet leaving a small hole when it exited the bodyguards head. Bullets leave small holes go in and the bloody mess when they exit. Overall though it is a good book and I would definitely recommend it.
